Introduction
Ayushman Bharat is a health insurance scheme to help or cater the poor and vulnerable people of lower section of society. It’s aim was to give the access of health care insurance to the Low earning peoples of the society.
Ayushman Bharat has several benefits like it will help to achieve the Sustainable Development goals and Universal Health Coverage. It will insure that the improvement and affordability of quality service in private and government hospitals. And there is also some limitations of this scheme like funding, funding is main concern for running this scheme smoothly, shortages of doctor and specialist is also one of the concern and In this scheme state government required to contribute 40% of all expenditure but some of state in India are not economically strong .
Main Section (All Information, Benefits and Limitations)
Ayushman Bharat has two interrelated components one of them is Health and Wealth Care (HWCs) and the other one is Pardhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (PMJAYs). Over 1.5 Lakhs of existing Sub Centres and Primary Health Cares will be transformed into HWCs and PMJAYs. With this step healthcare centres will bring closer to the people homes and they would provide Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHCs). And the Second One PMJAY has an aim to provide a health insurance coverage of ₹ 5 lakh per family per year and over 10.74 crores poor and vulnerable people can take benefits under this scheme.Ayushman Bharat has several benefits like it will help to achieve the Sustainable Development goals and Universal Health Coverage.
